REDFEB – Heart Research Australia

February 17, 2026

❤️ It’s REDFEB — Let’s Talk Heart Health, KI! ❤️

February is REDFEB, Heart Research Australia’s national campaign raising awareness and supporting life‑saving research into heart disease — still one of Australia’s leading causes of death.

Every 9 minutes, someone in Australia experiences a heart event, highlighting just how important early detection and healthy lifestyle choices are for our community.

At KI Medical Clinic, we’re passionate about supporting the heart health of our island community — especially our midlife and older adults who are more likely to live with chronic conditions like hypertension, high cholesterol, or diabetes.

🌟🔵KIMC offers Healthy Heart checks for eligible patients, this is a bulk billed service that can greately help identify cardiac risk factors.🔵🌟

This REDFEB, we encourage everyone to:

❤️ Wear red to spark conversations about heart health

🩺 Book a heart health check — early detection saves lives

💬 Talk to our team about risk factors such as blood pressure, diet, physical activity, and stress

🙏 Support heart research if you’re able

Small steps can make a big difference in protecting your heart — and the hearts of those you love.

Let’s stand together this February to spread awareness, take action, and keep KI hearts strong. ❤️
