R U OK?

Understanding each other, staying connected and asking R U OK?

Raising awareness around mental health and moving forward with support and an open mind – R U OK? day campaign aims to highlight the importance of doing these things everyday, encouraging each other and building a habit to check on in those around you.

R U OK day is an important reminder that hearing is only half of *really* listening to someone, and that asking R U OK? is a simple way to start.

You don’t need training to ask – R U OK?

KI Medical Clinic can provide support, or links to services that do – please contact us to book a GP appointment on 08 8553 2037. You can also reach out locally to the Junction Community Centre for more guidance about what services you can access.

This is also a good opportunity to remind people that services are also available for those who are impacted and dealing with needing support after suicide. StandBy are an excellent service and can be contacted on 1300 727 247 or for more information, visit https://standbysupport.com.au/
