Ovarian Cancer – Double Donation Day

February 18, 2026

🌼 Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month – Let’s Turn February Teal, Kangaroo Island

February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, a time for all Australians to shine a light on a disease that is often overlooked, underfunded, and diagnosed too late. This month, we come together to support the women and families in our communities who are affected—and to help drive better outcomes for the future. [ocrf.com.au], [ovariancancer.net.au]

💙 Why it Matters

  • Around 1,900 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year, and most cases are found at an advanced stage, where treatment becomes much more difficult
  • Symptoms can be vague—things like bloating, fatigue, back pain, or changes in bowel or bladder habits. Raising awareness can help more people recognise when something isn’t right.
  • Ovarian cancer has the poorest survival rate of any female cancer in Australia, and urgently needs more research, advocacy, and community awareness

This is why every conversation, every ribbon, and every donation truly makes a difference.

🎗️ Double Donation Day – Tuesday, 18 February 2026

On 18 February, all donations to the Ovarian Cancer Giving Day will be DOUBLED, thanks to generous partners supporting nationwide fundraising efforts.
This means your contribution—big or small—goes twice as far to support programs, nurses, research, advocacy, and better care for women affected by ovarian cancer
